craft: The Manifesto
Here's what we believe - the principles that drive craft, and more importantly, guide how we work for you.
Content is king:
The best way to get people to listen is to give them useful content. That's what we try to do in our business, and that's what guides our strategies for you.
One size fits none:
There's no such thing as a one-size-fits-all solution. At craft, we treat every client as a unique challenge, and that demands a unique solution.
There are no two-mouthed consultants:
Remember that saying about why you have two ears and one mouth? As we're planning your strategy together, we want to do a lot more listening than talking. Our approach to clients starts with a needs assessment and a big part of that is having a frank discussion with you about communications strategies you've undertaken in the past. Whether it blew up or fizzled, it's all food for thought.
It's a team effort:
We're team players. To us that means that every craftsPerson is involved with each client, and that our team becomes part of your team. No one has a monopoly on good ideas, and we've found that the best ideas come from the crucible of combined creativity. In addition, each member of our team brings different strengths to the table. Some of us can write compelling copy, others create visuals that pass the test of time. Some of us are tacticians, hand-on executors of ideas, while others are strategists with an eye on the future. Put it together, and it's a heck of a package.
Patience, grasshopper:
We can't promise you that we're going to come in with the big idea that transforms you and reaches your goals overnight. If it were that easy, then all of the consultants could go find other jobs. What we will promise you is that, for a communications strategy to work, you have to grow and nurture it. And we'll be there with you every step of the way.
